BRS&S Hosts Academic Visit for ALSA Thammasat Law Students

On 27 October 2026, Blumenthal Richter Sumet & Schuler welcomed more than 40 law students from the Asian Law Students’ Association (ALSA), Thammasat University, to our office for an academic visit.

The visit featured an engaging session led by Senior Partner Sumet Mingmongkolmitr, Senior Associate and Head of the Internship Committee Sudarat Jirakietwattana, and Associates Sataporn Samanyaporn, Warumporn Chaosanguan and Patchakorn Mingmongkolmitr. The speakers shared insights from their professional journeys and offered students a first-hand perspective on legal practice. The discussion highlighted the key skills and mindset needed to build a successful career in a law firm. Students were also encouraged to remain curious, embrace new challenges and explore their own paths within the legal profession.

As a Thammasat alumna herself, Sudarat said, “It was a pleasure to welcome students from my alma mater and share experiences we have gained along the way. Their curiosity and enthusiasm reaffirm the importance of investing in the next generation of legal talent.”

Following the session, the students joined a tour of our firm’s office, offering them an opportunity to experience the working environment of a full-service law firm and engage in informal conversations with our lawyers.

“The future of our firm, and of the legal profession in Thailand, depends on attracting and developing talented young lawyers,” said Sumet. “We are always pleased  to open our doors to students and support them as they take their first steps towards a career in the legal profession.”
