Blumenthal Richter Sumet & Schuler is pleased to announce that it hosted its first Open House for students of Chulalongkorn University’s LLBel Program (English LL.B.), welcoming students to the firm’s offices to learn more about life at BRS&S and the opportunities available to them as they begin their legal careers.
The event introduced students to the firm’s practice areas, culture and working environment, while also spotlighting the BRS&S Chula LLBel Spring Externship — an externship program offered exclusively to students of the Chula LLBel Program. Unlike a traditional internship, the externship allows students to work with the firm for academic credit, complemented by a dedicated seminar held in partnership with Chulalongkorn University.
The Open House was organized by Partner Promboon Sookatup, who also spoke at the event alongside Senior Associate Chawin Luangpattarawong and Associates Thidarat Tivatanajaroenpon and Chatchawan Phocharoen. The event opened with a panel session featuring the four speakers, who shared insights into the firm’s practice areas and their own career paths and answered questions from students about legal practice, professional development and the externship itself. The panel was followed by a tour of the firm’s office at One Bangkok, giving students a firsthand look at the working environment at BRS&S.
BRS&S welcomed its first cohort of Chula LLBel externs in Spring 2026, marking the inaugural year of the program. As founding members of the externship, this year’s participants gained hands-on experience across the firm’s practice groups while contributing valuable feedback that will help shape the program going forward.
